What It’s Like Working With Me

Every trip I design starts with a story — yours. When someone reaches out to me, they’re often brimming with ideas: a dream destination, a vision board of beaches or vineyards, or simply a feeling they want to capture. My role is to take that spark and shape it into something real, layered, and beautifully tailored.

It always begins with a conversation. Not a form, not a template — a real chat about what excites you, what kind of traveler you are, and what makes you feel most at ease when you’re away from home. Maybe it’s waking up to the sound of church bells echoing through a medieval square, or sipping wine beside the sea after a morning spent exploring local markets. I listen closely, asking questions that go beyond “where do you want to go?” and instead explore how you want to feel while you’re there.

From that conversation, the ideas start to unfold. I sketch the outline of your trip almost like a story arc — a rhythm of arrival, discovery, rest, and joy. Flights and hotels come later; for me, it’s about creating movement and emotion through the places we choose. That’s where my connections through Fora Travel and Virtuoso come in — opening doors to hand-picked hotels, guided experiences, and small touches that elevate a trip from pleasant to personal.

Behind the scenes, there’s a lot of careful planning. I coordinate transfers, tours, dinner reservations, and details you may never even realize required coordination — because when everything flows seamlessly, that’s exactly how it should feel. My clients often tell me how much they value that invisible preparation. They arrive at their destination with confidence, knowing that every detail has been handled, but with enough flexibility to wander and let the unexpected magic of travel happen.

Throughout the process, I stay in touch — not in a transactional way, but as a collaborator. I love checking in as the excitement builds, watching your itinerary take shape, and hearing from you mid-journey when you’ve just discovered your new favorite gelato shop or hidden viewpoint. Those are the moments that remind me why I do what I do.

Working with me isn’t about choosing from packages or being boxed into an itinerary. It’s about co-creating something that feels uniquely yours, with expert guidance and genuine care at every turn. It’s the difference between planning a trip and crafting an experience — one that stays with you long after you unpack your suitcase.
